Privacy Policy
GlowAfrique collects only information needed to operate the shop: account names and email addresses, password hashes, order and delivery details, customer messages, newsletter email addresses and consent records, submitted reviews, loyalty points, and Wave payment screenshots when a customer chooses that payment method.
We use this information to create and secure accounts, accept and fulfill orders, provide customer support, review payments, administer rewards, manage newsletter subscriptions, send transactional service emails, prevent abuse, and meet applicable legal obligations. Newsletter signups are stored with your consent; the shop does not currently send automated marketing campaigns. We do not sell customer personal information or use it for advertising profiles. You can unsubscribe your email address from newsletter updates at any time.
Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes. Session identifiers are stored as hashes in the database and the browser receives an HttpOnly session cookie. Payment screenshots are access-controlled and are not public. Do not include unrelated personal or financial information in a screenshot or message.
The store uses MongoDB for account, order, support, newsletter, and related records; Vercel may host the website and API. If configured, Resend delivers password-reset messages, order updates, and contact notifications. Service providers may process information outside Côte d’Ivoire.
We keep account and order records while needed to provide the service, maintain order history, resolve disputes, protect the shop, and meet legal obligations. You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data by using the Contact Us form. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law requires it.
For privacy matters, use the Contact Us form and select a data request. We will route the request to the store team. The Côte d’Ivoire personal-data law is Law No. 2013-450 of 19 June 2013.
